There are either 1 or 2 of a certain frame (whether it be a pokemon, a cherry, an R, or a 7). I have very good perception and I noticed it deliberately force my 7 out of the winning spot to make the game a bust!!! Odds are determined by whether or not it's possible to line up that third 7, as sometimes it'll stop short of the 7 by one frame or move past it by one frame. They pay out 300 coins a pop and it's a very efficient way to rack up coins quickly without wasting money. However, this machine is possible to line up that third 7 way more so than any other machine, leading me to believe that different machines have different odds. The machine will sometimes line up the first 2 7s for you, but it'll never line up the third one. I simply get the coin case from the loser who lost all his $$, walk in, talk to some people, get my 50 coins, and sit down at the right machine and start winning!! What's more important though, I got Porygon on there, without spending so much as a penny on my coins. I play everything on 2 GBA SPs with the link cable and everything. I'm playing Fire Red as part of filling out the Gen 3 pokedex on Pokemon Emerald. In the second row of slots from the left wall is a slot machine that says 'Out of Order'. I started on this one machine near the left that wasn't paying out, but causing me to break even, and so I went to another machine.

Keep in mind I haven't paid for coins once. Writing this out after I just got my Dratini for 2800 coins.
